About Music Festivals & Concerts
When you're managing a music festival, the biggest challenge isn't just the announcements; it is the 10-minute gap between sets. I coordinate directly with sound engineers and stage managers during these technical changeovers so the energy never dips, keeping the audience engaged even while instruments are being swapped out.
As a musician, the stage is my natural habitat, but it is also my workplace. I have learned that a host must be the glue that holds a concert together. Whether it is a large festival with back-to-back bands or an intimate showcase, my role is to ensure the production team can do their job without worrying about the microphone, while the audience stays connected to the music.
My process begins with the run-of-show. I sit down with your team to understand the technical timeline, from sound checks to the final artist walk-off. I am comfortable handling multilingual events, seamlessly switching between English, Hindi, and French to suit your crowd.
I have hosted events like Muscape 2024 at the MLR Convention Centre, where I managed not just the crowd, but the complex logistics of band transitions and mentor sets. I know what it feels like when a schedule starts to slip, and I have the experience to use my voice to steer things back on track.
