Invitation Design and Craftsmanship
A look behind the scenes at how we bring your invitations to life. From layering textures to hand-pressing wax seals, here is the care that goes into every single card.
This video shows the making of our red and floral invitation suite. Watch as we assemble the different layers, including the custom bookmark and vellum wrap, and tie it all together with a ribbon.
A behind-the-scenes look at the creation of a modern invitation. This video demonstrates how we pair a printed acrylic card with a floral backer and finish the envelope with a classic wax seal.
About this collection
The magic is in the details, like the precise layering of our vellum wraps and the hand-pressed wax seals on our acrylic suites. When you see our process, you will notice it is not just about printing a card, but about constructing an experience. We pay attention to the alignment of every ribbon and the finish of every gold-foiled edge, ensuring that what you unbox is exactly what you envisioned for your big day.
Creating a wedding invitation suite that guests hold onto starts long before the final assembly. At our Bangalore studio, we approach each project as a construction task, not just a print job.
The Layering Process We start by selecting the foundation. For our classic floral suites, that means choosing 300 GSM textured paper that feels substantial in the hand. For modern acrylic or hardbound sets, we look at UV printing to ensure the text remains sharp and legible against the transparent or opaque material.
Hand-Finished Touches Automation can only do so much. The finishing touches, such as tying silk tassels, applying adhesive to wax seals, and folding vellum jackets, are all done by hand. This allows us to inspect each card for smudges or alignment issues before it goes into an envelope. If we are using gold or rose gold hot-stamping, we ensure the foil pressure is just right so it catches the light without chipping.
Logistics and Shipping Whether you are in Bangalore or planning a destination wedding elsewhere, we take the same care in packing. We use heavy-duty box-style envelopes for our rigid suites to prevent damage during transit. If you choose a wax seal, we use flexible, high-quality wax that will not crack or shatter when moving through the postal system.
Customization You are not picking from a stale catalog. You are picking a style, such as rustic jute, modern acrylic, or traditional foil, and then we adapt it. You can bring us a swatch of your bridal outfit or a photograph of your venue, and we will find a way to incorporate those colors into the envelope lining or the monograms on your inserts.
Rajendra Cards
We are the team behind Rajendra Cards, and we treat every invitation as the start of a story. We love experimenting with textures like jute and acrylic because we know these small details make the first impression of your event. Based in Sultanpete, we spend our days making sure every fold, seal, and print is perfect.
