About Hand-Poured Urli Candles
These 3-wick urlis are designed to last throughout your puja or festive gathering. Because I use 100% natural soy wax, they burn cleanly without any black soot, and since the brass-finish bowls are reusable, you can keep them for decoration long after the candle has melted down.
Why I Choose Soy Wax
For my urli candles, I strictly use 100% natural soy wax. It is better for the air in your home compared to standard paraffin, and it holds fragrance beautifully. When I pour these in small batches, I ensure the wax sets perfectly around the three cotton wicks to guarantee an even melt pool, which is crucial for a bowl this wide.
The Design Process
Each urli starts with a high-quality metal bowl with a brass-like finish. I then hand-sculpt the floral toppings—roses, lotuses, and daisies—using the same soy wax. I add tiny details like pearls, gold foil flakes, and glitter to give them that festive, elevated look. Because I make these by hand, no two candles are identical, which gives your home decor a unique, personal touch.
Practical Details
- Usage: Perfect for Diwali, housewarming ceremonies, or as centerpieces for festive dinners.
- Sustainability: Once the wax is finished, simply wipe out the bowl with a warm, damp cloth. You can reuse the brass-finish urli to hold floating flowers, potpourri, or jewelry.
- Gifting: Every piece is bubble-wrapped carefully to ensure the delicate wax flowers stay intact during shipping. If you are ordering these for a wedding or large event, I can coordinate the floral colors to match your specific theme.
