Professional Mehndi Training & Artistry Showcase
I am Rahul, and this gallery is a look at the techniques I teach and the artistry I have spent over two decades perfecting right here in Delhi.
In my classes, we begin by building a strong foundation on paper. This video shows a student practicing intricate bridal elements like the kalash, peacock motifs, and detailed filler patterns, which helps develop steady hands and an eye for design before moving to skin.
Here you can see a student transitioning from paper to practicing on a real hand. A key skill I teach is how to accurately replicate any design a client might request, just like my student is doing here by referencing a photo on her phone.
I am incredibly proud of my students' progress, like this advanced portrait of Radha and Krishna. My course covers specialized techniques, including figurative and portrait mehndi, to help you become a versatile professional artist.
This is an example of my own professional bridal work, featuring a detailed peacock and traditional jaali patterns. When you learn with me, you learn the exact techniques I've perfected over 25 years in the industry.
Perfecting the art of mehndi is all about clean lines and confident strokes. In this clip, I am demonstrating how to create delicate lotus petals and fill them with precision, a fundamental skill we practice extensively in my classes.
I believe in being a lifelong learner. Here I am receiving a certificate from the renowned mehndi master, Harin Dalal. I am committed to constantly improving my own craft so I can pass on the very best knowledge to you.
About Featured
Mehndi is not just about the design; it is about control. In my classes, we start with cone mechanics on paper before moving to skin. This transition is critical because it builds muscle memory—if you can master the pressure on paper, your lines on a bride's hand will be flawless.
I have broken down my training into two clear paths: a Foundation Course for beginners and a Professional Diploma for those wanting to take this up as a career. We do not just copy patterns; we deconstruct them. Whether it is learning the precise curvature of a lotus or the complex anatomy of a portrait figure, every exercise is designed to improve your speed and neatness.
You are not left to figure things out alone. I provide a dedicated practice workbook with pre-printed hand templates, and we use chemical-free cones from day one so you get used to the consistency you will use in the field.
We run these sessions face-to-face in Dwarka, Mahavir Enclave, and Janakpuri. Learning, for me, requires hands-on guidance. I watch your stroke, correct the angle of your cone, and help you fix alignment issues in real-time. It is not a lecture; it is a workshop. My goal is to get you comfortable holding a cone until it feels like an extension of your hand.
