About Traditional Maharashtrian Engagements
My process for these ceremonies focuses on the details that matter—the texture of your silk, the traditional jewelry, and the candid interactions between families during the rituals. Whether you are hosting an intimate gathering in a family home in Dadar or a larger ceremony in a banquet hall in Thane, I document the event without forcing stiff poses that break the flow of the celebration.
Maharashtrian engagements are rich in ritual and color, and my goal is to balance these traditional requirements with modern, candid photography.

I understand that ceremonies like the Sakharpuda are fast-paced and meaningful. I use compact, silent Nikon Z-series mirrorless gear to move through the venue without disrupting the rituals. My goal is to capture the authentic emotion of the ring exchange and the family blessings while ensuring I get the essential, high-quality portraits you need for your album.

I dedicate time to capturing the signature elements of your look—the nath, the green bangles, and the drape of your Paithani saree. If your event has a designated portrait time, I guide you through natural, romantic poses that highlight your connection. For indoor venues or evening events, I bring portable, professional lighting setups to ensure your photos look bright and cinematic, not dull or grainy.
Working Together
I primarily shoot in Mumbai and Pune, but I am happy to travel for your engagement. My packages range from single-photographer coverage for intimate events to dual-photographer teams for larger gatherings, ensuring no guest or moment is missed.
