I do not ask children to pose or look at the lens. My process for childhood and family shoots is simple: I observe and wait for the natural, messy, beautiful moments to happen. Whether it is a chaotic cake smash or a quiet moment of play, I use a 4K mirrorless setup that allows me to be unobtrusive so that the focus remains entirely on your family's authentic connection.
