Traditional Event Decoration Highlights
I hand-pick these setups to show the real, traditional craft behind my work. From hand-woven chapparal entrances to fresh floral pooja decor, these are the styles I am most proud of.
This is the kind of grand, traditional welcome I love to create. I build these *chappara* entrances entirely by hand using woven coconut leaves, fresh flower garlands, and sugarcane pillars. It’s a 100% eco-friendly design that brings a divine feeling to any housewarming or wedding.
For Varamahalakshmi pooja, every detail matters. I decorated this pooja room with fragrant jasmine and tuberose garlands, lotus hangings, and beautiful yellow roses to create a truly sacred space for the goddess.
This is a grand wedding *mantapa* I designed for a special celebration. The entire structure is inspired by traditional temple architecture, built with ornate pillars and decorated with thousands of fresh flowers to create a heavenly setting for the couple.
A Haldi ceremony should be full of joy and vibrant color. I created this beautiful outdoor setup using marigold flower arrangements, a traditional brass *urli* for the ceremony, and a bright yellow backdrop to make the photos look stunning.
For a baby shower or naming ceremony, I love creating unique decorations like this. This moon-shaped cradle is fully covered in fresh, colorful flowers, making it a beautiful and memorable centerpiece for welcoming the little one.
The banana leaf backdrop is one of my most requested designs. Here, my students and I are setting up an elegant backdrop made entirely of fresh banana leaves, accented with marigold garlands and a Ganesha cutout for a traditional function.
It brings me so much happiness to hear feedback like this from my clients. This client, who lives in London, found me online and trusted me with her family's Satyanarayana Swamy pooja decoration in Bangalore.
A beautifully decorated main door sets the tone for the entire celebration. For this housewarming, I used intricate flower columns and a traditional *thorana* with hanging bells to welcome guests into the new home.
About Featured
I do not use readymade frames for my chappara work. Everything is built from scratch using bamboo poles, fresh coconut leaves, and banana stems, woven by hand right at your venue. It takes my team a few extra hours to set this up compared to standard drapes, but that is how we ensure the look is truly authentic for your event.
My approach is simple. I want to bring the old ways back to modern Bengaluru celebrations. Whether it is a gruhapravesha (housewarming) or a wedding mantapa, I focus entirely on natural materials. You will not find plastic flowers or fake drapes in my designs. I use fresh marigolds, jasmine, banana leaves, and sugarcane to create an atmosphere that feels like a traditional festival at home.
My team and I spend hours hand-weaving coconut leaves for chappara entrances and designing intricate floral thomale garlands for pooja rooms. I also run the CM Event Institute, where I train my students to work on these live events. This means when you hire me, you are getting a dedicated team that knows the craft inside out. We handle the smallest details like banana leaf backdrops and floral cradle settings to make sure your space looks divine.
If you are planning an event in Bengaluru and want something that feels rooted in culture, let us talk. We can work with your specific space, whether it is a compact pooja room or a large wedding hall.
