Give your child the gift of balance, confidence, and fun. This short video highlights the energy of our roller skating program here in Nerul, where every session is a new adventure.
On your mark, get set, grow. Here, two of our young students get into position for a practice drill, learning focus and discipline from the very start of their skating lessons.
About Get Ready to Roll
We run group sessions on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at the Tilak Public School track. It is not just about rolling fast, as our coaches prioritize teaching kids safe falling mechanics before they move on to speed or slalom, so they build the confidence to get back up every time they tumble.
Building Balance and Confidence
Learning to skate is about more than just movement, it is about resilience. At Pro School Sports, we see every wobble and fall as a necessary part of the growth process. Our 'Kar lenge' (we will get it done) attitude ensures that kids stay motivated and keep trying until they find their rhythm.
Our Training Progression
We structure our roller skating classes to meet children where they are. Whether your child is a complete beginner or looking to refine their technique, our curriculum covers the essentials:
- Month 1: Focus on stance correction, establishing balance, and learning safe falling mechanics.
- Month 2: Introduction to forward movement, striding, and effective stopping techniques.
- Month 3: Advanced drills including turning, speed control, and competitive skating posture.
Practical Details for Parents
Our sessions are held at the Tilak Public School outdoor track in Nerul. We maintain a group batch format of 15 to 25 students, managed by a head coach and assistants to ensure every child gets supervision.
Important notes for your first day:
- Gear: You will need to provide your own skates (inline or quads), a helmet, and a full set of safety guards (knee, elbow, and wrist).
- Attire: Please ensure your child is wearing appropriate sports apparel or our academy jersey.
- Consistency: We recommend our quarterly program for those looking to see significant progression from basic balance to smooth gliding.
