Behind the Scenes: My Bridal Makeup Process
I believe the best makeup moments happen off-camera. See how we prep skin, blend to perfection, and create that lasting, radiant glow for every ceremony.

About Behind The Scenes & Bridal Transformations
I don't just apply foundation; I dedicate the first 45 minutes of every appointment to intense skin prep. When you see me working in these photos, I am focusing on a CTM protocol—cleansing, toning, and moisturizing—using luxury products to create a sweat-resistant, dewy base. This ensures your makeup looks like real skin, not a mask, and holds up perfectly from your first morning ritual through the last dance of the night.
The Science Behind the Glow
People often ask me how I keep a bridal look fresh for 12+ hours in Mumbai's humidity. It is not about piling on more product. It is about technique. I use specific, water-resistant HD bases that are designed to handle stage lights and heat without oxidizing or sliding off. Whether we are doing a soft glam look for a Mandvo or high-drama for a Reception, the layering process is deliberate. I use a mix of luxury brands like Charlotte Tilbury and Giorgio Armani, but the real magic is in the blending. As I always say, blending is my cardio.
Handling Different Ceremonies
My process changes depending on the event.
- Mehendi & Haldi: We focus on sheer, lightweight coverage that lets your natural skin shine through, usually with floral-inspired colors.
- Sangeet & Cocktail: This is when we play with drama. I utilize long-wear setting sprays and glitter pigments that are flash-friendly, so you look incredible in photos without flashback.
- Wedding Ceremony: Here, we aim for timeless. I focus on skin texture, ensuring that your foundation doesn't settle into fine lines.
Why Prep Matters
If your skin isn't hydrated properly, no amount of concealer can fix it. I bring my full kit, including skincare, to every venue—whether it is a hotel suite in South Mumbai or a destination wedding elsewhere. I don't just 'do' your makeup; I guide you through the process, setting your jewelry, ensuring your dupatta is pinned securely, and making sure you feel like yourself before you step out to face the crowd.
