Festivals like Karwachauth and Teej are all about memories. I specialise in storytelling mehndi—from hidden names and chhalni motifs to traditional elephants—all using my homemade organic paste for a deep, dark stain.

This Karwachauth special is one of my most requested designs. I love creating these detailed figurative pieces, showing a woman with her puja thali and chhalni, waiting for the moon. It’s a design that tells a story, making your festival even more memorable.

A full-hand Karwachauth scene, showing two women celebrating the festival together. The design includes intricate details on the fingers and a beautiful peacock on the wrist, making it a complete piece of storytelling art.

This design combines several auspicious elements for Karwachauth, including jhumka motifs, swastikas for good fortune, and a space to write a name. The intricate check patterns and floral work make it a traditional yet personalized choice.

A beautiful Karwachauth design where you can see the name 'Vishal' cleverly hidden within the pattern. This is a fun and personal touch I love adding for my clients. The design also features domes and bird motifs.

A happy client showing off her Karwachauth mehndi. I created matching designs for her with traditional 'jharokha' or window motifs, filled with intricate details and lotus patterns on the wrist.

Here you can see a full bridal-style Karwachauth mehndi, complete with portraits and the wedding date. I am applying a finishing spray which helps set the design and darken the stain.

A gorgeous design perfect for the festival of Teej. This Arabic-style bel is filled with leafy vines and floral patterns, covering the back of the hand elegantly. It's a popular choice for its beauty and grace.

This Teej special mehndi features bands of elephants, a classic symbol of the festival. I've combined it with intricate jaali work and floral patterns for a rich, traditional look that extends up the arm.

Look at the rich color on this Teej-inspired design. The pattern includes a row of elephants on the wrist and delicate floral work on the palm, all coming together in a beautiful dark orange stain.

A majestic design featuring a palace scene with peacocks. This kind of architectural and figurative work is perfect for brides or for a grand festival look, telling a story right on your hands.

About Karwachauth & Teej Mehndi

You want that deep, dark stain, right? It all starts with my homemade organic paste, which I prep 24 hours in advance. Once the design dries, I recommend a simple trick. Use a light mist of a pain relief spray like Volini to really seal the colour. It works wonders for that rich, cherry-red finish you see in my photos.
