Celebrate Indian festivals with detailed mehndi art that tells a story. From traditional Teej swings to Karwa Chauth rituals, I bring festive memories to your palms.

A classic Teej festival design. One hand features a woman on a swing under a tree, while the other is adorned with beautiful peacocks, celebrating nature and joy.

A special design for Rakshabandhan. The palm shows a sister tying a rakhi on her brother's wrist, a beautiful way to capture the essence of the festival. The back of the hand has an elegant floral design.

This is a unique Karwa Chauth design with figures painted in a colorful, Madhubani-inspired style. It adds a vibrant and artistic touch to the traditional festival mehndi.

A Karwa Chauth design in progress. You can see the classic motif of a woman with a sieve, being drawn carefully on the palm, with a phone used for design reference.

A beautiful Hariyali Teej design showing a woman on a swing under a leafy tree. The other hand has a complementary traditional pattern, perfect for the festive occasion.

Another lovely Teej design with the iconic 'girl on a swing' motif. This design is paired with a more traditional floral pattern on the other hand, offering a unique combination.

A detailed mehndi design for Hartalika Teej. The palm features two peacocks, while the wrist is decorated with a large, beautifully shaded rose, combining popular festive motifs.

About this collection

Whether you want the iconic Teej swing design or a traditional Karwa Chauth sieve motif, I focus on figures that capture the spirit of the occasion. I use only my own organic henna paste, which I mix at home to ensure a deep, rich stain that lasts through your entire celebration.

Festivals in India are not just dates on a calendar. They are times to dress up, celebrate with family, and carry on traditions. My mehndi designs for occasions like Teej, Karwa Chauth, and Rakshabandhan are meant to be a part of that celebration. I don't just apply henna; I try to capture the specific vibe of the day.

For Hariyali Teej, I love drawing the girl on a swing surrounded by trees, a motif that celebrates nature and joy. For Karwa Chauth, I create detailed figures like a woman with a sieve, often adding custom touches that make the design feel personal. For Rakhi, I enjoy creating sibling-themed art that marks the bond you share.

My process is simple but careful. I use organic, home-mixed henna paste because I want the colour to be dark and long-lasting. To get the best stain, I always suggest using the clove smoke (laung ki dhuan) aftercare method, which I can explain during your appointment.

I travel across the Delhi NCR region for these bookings. Since festival days are busy for everyone, I recommend planning ahead so I can give your design the time and detail it deserves. My goal is to make sure that when you look at your hands, you see the effort and the love I have put into the art.
