This Rakhi special design is a beautiful Arabic bel. It starts with a floral bunch at the wrist and flows up the index finger, adorned with delicate dots and vines. It's elegant and doesn't cover the whole hand.

A graceful vine pattern that snakes up the hand. This is a very popular style for party mehndi as it is quick to apply but looks incredibly elegant. The cuff at the wrist adds a finishing touch.

A beautiful peacock motif designed in an Arabic style. The peacock's body forms the main part of the design, with its feathers flowing elegantly. The hanging 'jhumka' on the finger is a lovely touch.

This video shows the creation of a delicate floral bel design. Starting from a small spiral, it blossoms into a beautiful pattern with roses and leaves, perfect for a subtle and chic look.

About this collection

I focus on diagonal floral flows that complement your hand shape, keeping the application quick—usually 15 to 25 minutes per side—so you're ready for your party without sitting for hours.

Arabic bels are my go-to for anyone who wants elegance without the heaviness of full bridal mehndi. These designs rely on negative space, bold outlines, and floral motifs that flow naturally along the back of your hand. Because I prepare my own organic henna paste (soaked for 24 hours), you get that deep, dark stain without any chemical irritation, which is a common concern with store-bought cones.

Whether you are a guest at a wedding, celebrating Rakhi, or just want a festive look for Eid, these designs are incredibly versatile. I use a fine-tip 0.38mm cone to ensure the lines stay crisp, whether it is a simple mandala or a sprawling vine pattern. These designs usually cover from your fingertips to the wrist bone.

If you are planning to book, keep in mind that I prefer to work in a well-lit space so I can get those precise details perfect. A pro-tip for when I am done: keep the mehndi on for at least 4 to 6 hours to get the best result. The stain will deepen over the next 48 hours, so plan your event accordingly!
