I don't just wipe tools down, I use a multi-step process for every single metal implement I use, from e-file bits to cuticle nippers. Every set of tools is soaked, scrubbed, and then fully sanitized before it touches your hands, because honestly, I would never accept anything less for my own nails.
Let's be real, nails are a vibe, but an infection is definitely not. In my Ghatkopar studio, I have set up a strict, non-negotiable hygiene routine that applies to every single appointment. It starts with the basics: every metal tool, from my e-file bits to my cuticle nippers and pushers, goes through a thorough disinfection process. No short-cutting, no skipping steps.
When I train students in my nail art workshops, this is actually the first thing I teach them. You can learn all the fancy 3D art or chrome techniques in the world, but if your station isn't clean, it is a hard pass from me. My clients trust me because I treat their hands exactly how I would treat my own. Whether you are coming in for a fresh set of gel extensions or just a lash lift, you can relax knowing everything has been sanitized before it touches you.
