About Milestone & Sitter Sessions
The best window for a sitter session is typically between six and nine months, once your baby can sit up steadily but is not yet crawling off the set. I keep these sessions light and playful, focusing on capturing those emerging giggles and expressions while they interact with props like their favorite soft toys.
While newborn photography is all about capturing quiet, sleepy innocence, sitter sessions are a whole different adventure. By six months, your baby is interacting with the world, making faces, and showing off a personality that is entirely their own.
My approach for these milestone sessions is to keep the energy relaxed and the environment safe. I have a variety of props available—baskets, wooden crates, and soft blankets—that help create a stable and comfortable space for your baby to sit. Since this age can be unpredictable, I build plenty of breaks into our time together for feeding, soothing, or just letting them take a breather.
We typically aim for 30 to 45 minutes of active shooting, which is usually the sweet spot for babies this age before they get tired or fussy. Whether you want a clean, minimalist look with neutral backgrounds or a themed setup with flowers and props, we can build a look that matches your style. If you are based in Noida or the wider NCR region, we can discuss whether a studio session or a home visit works better for your baby's comfort. The goal is always to freeze these fleeting, curious moments so you can look back on them long after they start running around.
