When I team up with a percussionist, it completely changes the vibe. We bring a Cajon or Djembe into the mix, giving the songs a rhythmic punch that a solo guitar just can't match. It is the ideal setup for those corporate mixers or networking dinners where you want people to tap their feet but still hold a conversation without shouting over the music.

Why Choose an Acoustic Duo

A solo act is great for background ambiance, but an acoustic duo adds that extra layer of life. By adding a percussionist (usually on a Cajon or Djembe), we create a fuller sound that drives the energy up. It works better than a solo set for keeping a crowd engaged during cocktail hours or product launches.

What You Get

My duo sets usually run for about 3 hours, split into sets so there is always a dynamic flow to the performance. We lean heavily into Bollywood hits, retro classics, and a few Kannada favorites like 'Bombe helutaite' if the crowd calls for it. The goal is to make it interactive, so expect us to read the room and take requests.

Important Logistics

Since this is an amplified duo setup, I need a bit of support from your end. Unlike my solo shows where I bring my own portable gear, for the duo, the venue or the client needs to provide the sound system (2 active speakers, 2 monitors, and mics). It’s a small detail, but getting this sorted early ensures we sound great the moment we plug in. We generally arrive about 45 minutes before the start time to get the levels right and ensure everything is smooth for your guests.
