Why I Do What I Do
I’m all about going back to basics. Honestly, all those fancy 7-step routines and chemical-packed bottles don’t sit right with me. My inspiration comes straight from my Dadi and Nani - they used kitchen ingredients for glowing skin, not store-bought acids. I follow that same zameen se judi (earth-connected) approach: simple, 100% natural, and handmade with emotion.
What Goes Into My Products
- Pure, plant-based ingredients only - haldi, chandan, neem, tulsi, ubtan, shea butter, coconut oil, and fresh fruit or veggie powders.
- No harsh chemicals ever - no parabens, sulfates, mineral oils, or artificial fragrances. Bilkul nahi (Absolutely not).
- Everything is cruelty-free.
My 'Asli' Handmade Soaps
- For oily/acne skin: Neem Tulsi, Charcoal, Multani Mitti soaps. They clean deeply but don’t over-dry.
- For tan & dullness: Potato Ubtan (best seller for natural tan removal), Orange Peel & Lemon, Kesar soaps. Gentle exfoliation, brighter skin.
- For hydration/soothing: Aloe Vera, Haldi Chandan, Rose soaps. Calm and nourish irritated skin.
- For gentle exfoliation: Coffee and Almond soaps.

- Plant-based hair oil, herbal shampoo, and traditional ubtan face powder.

Namaste! We’re Prakriti Skincare, ek choti si family ki side hustle. Daytime mein we’re busy as ‘corporate majdoors’, but real happiness comes from making herbal soaps and skincare at home. Dadi-nani ke nuskhe hi best hain, so our whole family got involved. Nandini makes soaps in Rajasthan, then bhai and I pack and deliver in Delhi—sometimes I deliver before my day job!
