Outdoor Pet Photography: Candid Adventures & Natural Portraits
Forget posed, stiff studio photos. I capture your dog in their natural element, from local parks to mountain trails, preserving their true personality and spirit.

A young sheep herding dog sitting patiently against a backdrop of stunning green mountains and clouds. Outdoor sessions like this allow me to capture animals in a grand, scenic context that highlights their spirit of adventure.
A Himalayan sheepdog enjoying a quiet moment under a tree on a vast meadow. The question of whether a dog is happier wild and free or cozy in a home is a complex one, and moments like this capture the beauty of their independence.
A dramatic and playful sequence unfolds at a Bangalore dog park. Capturing these interactions between dogs is all about timing and observation, showing their social dynamics and pure, uninhibited joy during playtime.

A powerful stance from a Himalayan Mastiff, also known as a Gaddi dog. His serious expression and strong build are beautifully captured against the soft, dry grass, showcasing the noble character of this incredible breed.
This dog was a silent guardian during my trek, always watching over our group from a distance. I took these photos of him amidst the foliage, trying to capture his calm, protective nature and the quiet dignity of a working mountain dog.

About Paws & Peaks: Outdoor Adventures
My outdoor sessions are built on patience, not pressure. Whether we are meeting in a quiet corner of a Bangalore park or trekking through the mountains, I spend the first part of our session just hanging out with your dog, using treats and making silly noises to get them comfortable with me. I don't believe in forcing a pose; I wait for the moment they are just being their goofy, authentic selves, and that is when I click.
Photography in the wild—or even just at your local dog park—is inherently unpredictable, and that is exactly what makes it special. Unlike a studio setup where I control the environment, outdoor shoots require me to adapt to your dog's rhythm.
The 'No-Pose' Philosophy
I find that the best photos happen when a dog forgets I am even holding a camera. This means we might end up with fur flying, tongue-out panting, or a 'zoomie' captured mid-air. I embrace this messiness because that is the reality of a dog’s life.
Locations & Travel
While I am based in Bengaluru and know the best hidden spots for a good run, I frequently travel across India for projects. If you have a specific trail or a favourite holiday destination where your dog is at their happiest, let's go there. These locations add context and scale to the images, telling a bigger story about your life together.
How We Start
We start with a conversation about your dog's temperament. Are they a high-energy explorer who loves to sprint, or a shy observer who prefers watching the world go by? We plan the location and timing to match their personality. For example, a morning session is usually best for a quiet, golden hour glow, whereas active dogs might need a midday park slot where they have space to burn off energy. My goal is to ensure you walk away with a collection of images that look like your dog on their absolute best day.
