Law isn't just about what happens before a judge. It is the groundwork, the strategy, and the preparation that makes a case winnable. Whether in the Supreme Court or via virtual hearings, here is how I manage my litigation practice.

A glimpse into a work trip to Mumbai. While virtual court appearances are convenient, the experience of a physical hearing in the historic Bombay High Court is enriching. It's a city close to my heart, and these trips are always a blend of work and reconnecting.

The magnificent Allahabad High Court, Lucknow bench. I was recently here for a virtual hearing, which went smoothly thanks to our Lucknow office. The ability to manage work across different cities is one of the biggest advantages of modern legal practice.

Lucknow will always be special. Here I am in our Lucknow office, managing work and virtual hearings. It's a city I call home, and being able to practice here, even remotely, is a privilege.

At the airport after a whirlwind trip to Lucknow. Juggling work in multiple locations is the reality of my practice, but technology makes it possible to stay on top of every case.

A short clip from my Lucknow trip. The blue skies were a beautiful backdrop to a busy schedule. We were discussing the nuances of criminal antecedents in FIR quashing petitions, a frequent topic in my criminal law practice.

A pleasant meeting with Mr. Vikrant Yadav, Secretary of the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA). We discussed the welcome changes at the court, like the new information screens, which make a lawyer's day a bit more efficient.

Another photo from my meeting at the SCBA. These interactions with fellow members of the bar are important for staying connected with the legal community and the evolving practices at the Supreme Court.

This spot at the Supreme Court is my place for quietude amidst the cacophony. It's where I read, prepare, or just clear my head. As lawyers, we often suffer from compassion fatigue, and finding moments of stillness is essential to stay grounded.

Sharing a lighter moment with colleagues while waiting for our matters to be called at the Supreme Court. The camaraderie and occasional banter are what get us through the long, demanding days before the summer vacation.

More laughter and conversation with my team at court. These moments of connection with my colleagues, including my sister Pallavi and brother Prashant, are precious.

About In the Courtroom & At the Office

A strong defense doesn't start at the podium, it begins with the paperwork on my desk. Before we ever face the bench, I spend hours reviewing FIRs, identifying jurisdictional gaps, and mapping out the facts. Whether it is a virtual hearing or a physical appearance in the High Court, my approach is simple: cut through the legal noise and present the 'sach kya hai' (the truth) to the judge.
