Standard Balcony Makeover (50 sq. ft.)
Core Elements
- Flooring: High-Density Artificial Grass Carpet (35mm - 40mm pile height). Includes cutting and pasting to fit balcony shape.
- Planters: 8-10 Standard Rotomolded Plastic Planters. Durable, weather-resistant, usually white or terracotta.
- Plant Scaping: 8-10 hardy air-purifying plants (Snake Plant, Areca Palm, Spider Plant) approx. 1.5ft - 2.5ft height.
Finish & Execution
- Edging: Border of Polished White River Pebbles (approx. 5kg) for clean lines.
- Soil Mix: Lightweight treated mix (Cocopeat + Vermicompost).
- Service: Cleaning of existing floor and setup by a 2-person team.
Premium Deck & Fiberglass Styling (80-100 sq. ft.)
Hardscaping
- Flooring: Designer mix of Interlocking WPC Deck Tiles (wood-finish) and patches of Artificial Turf.
- Planters: 5-7 Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) planters. Rectangular troughs or tall tapered designs in Matte Grey, Black, or White.
Softscaping & Mood
- Plants: Taller architectural foliage (3ft - 5ft) like Fiddle Leaf Fig, Rubber Plant, or Bird of Paradise.
- Lighting: LED strip lighting under planter edges or 2-3 warm white garden spike lights.
- Decor: Focal point element such as a rock arrangement or ceramic pot cluster.

Structure & System
- Mounting: Geo-textile fabric pouches or PP modular frames drilled into the wall with a waterproofing backing layer.
- Irrigation: Semi-automatic drip irrigation network with a basic timer. (Requires water/power source).
Planting
- Density: 4-6 plants per sq. ft. for instant coverage.
- Varieties: Hardy species like Golden Pothos, Ferns, Philodendrons, and Syngoniums.
- Media: Lightweight soilless cocopeat mix.

I get a kick out of turning those plain concrete slabs into cozy corners where you actually want to spend time. Whether you want a lush backdrop for chai with friends or a quiet nook for yourself, I can shape it to fit your vibe.
How the Process Works
I keep things simple and stress-free:
- We start with a chat about your ideas, lifestyle, and space - it's super casual, nothing fancy.
- Once you like the design, I handle everything. Sourcing plants, setting up modern outdoor planters, fixing artificial turf, and sorting the lighting - you just watch the space come alive.
- If you want, I can even send a maali (gardener) for regular upkeep so your urban jungle stays fresh.
What Goes Into Your Garden
I pick plants that are mostly low-maintenance urban plants, so you don't have to fuss over them. Areca Palms, bamboo for privacy, colourful flowers, and pet-safe options if you ask. For bigger terraces, I can add stone pavers or vertical gardens for that terrace garden transformation look. Planters are mostly fibreglass - lightweight, sturdy, and classy. And small touches like pebbles, night lights, or even a Buddha statue if you like a zen feel.
