About Terrariums & Miniature Gardens
When I build these, I do not just put plants in glass. I create a real, living ecosystem. Every bowl includes a technical drainage layer with LECA clay balls, activated charcoal, and sphagnum moss, topped with decorative sand. This means you do not need to be an expert to keep it alive because the setup handles the moisture balance for you.
Why a terrarium works as a gift
Unlike cut flowers that fade in a few days, a terrarium is a living piece of decor. It is a perfect solution for Mumbai homes and offices where space is tight but the desire for greenery is high. My terrariums range from dry succulent bowls that love sunlight to tropical setups with ferns and fittonia that thrive in humidity.
How I build your miniature garden
Every bowl is a blank canvas. I use layers of colored sand, pebbles, and moss to create a landscape that looks good from every angle. If you are gifting this, I can add a personalized tag, mini resin figures, or even seasonal touches like mini Santa hats for the holidays. Whether you want a 'jungle in a bowl' or a sleek succulent cube for your workspace, I build it to fit the environment it will live in.
Care and maintenance
These are low-intervention pieces. Because I include a proper drainage system, you will not have to worry about water logging the roots. I always provide a simple care guide with every bowl so you know exactly how much light and water your specific plants need. They are essentially little, self-sufficient worlds designed to make your desk or living room feel more alive.
