Before we even pick a brush, I focus heavily on skin prep. For engagement and sangeet functions, you’re going to be talking, laughing, and dancing all night—I make sure the base is super hydrated and breathable so it stays fresh and doesn't get cakey, even under bright stage lights or camera flashes.
When it comes to engagement or pre-wedding events, the vibe is usually different from the main wedding day. You want to look stunning in photos, but you also want to be able to interact with guests without feeling like you're wearing a mask. My process starts with understanding the venue and the kind of lighting you’ll be in. Whether it’s an outdoor Roka in Delhi or a night-time Sangeet, I choose the products accordingly.
I love playing with soft glam looks for engagements—think radiant skin, defined eyes, and a pop of color that matches your outfit perfectly. If it’s a Sangeet, we might go a bit bolder with the eyes or add a sharper liner to make sure your look holds up on stage. I use premium brands like Huda Beauty, MAC, and Dior, ensuring the finish is breathable. If you want that HD finish that looks great in high-res photos, we can definitely do airbrushing too.
During our 2.5 to 3-hour session, I don’t just do the makeup; I help with jewelry setting and pinning your dupatta or saree so you’re completely stress-free. It’s your day, and you should be enjoying every moment, not worrying about a loose pin or smudged liner.
