No-Mess Smart Home Retrofit Installation
We upgrade your home to smart technology without the construction dust. Our controllers fit discreetly behind your existing switchboard, meaning no rewiring, no wall-breaking, and your original switches keep working.
We created Picostone to solve a simple problem: getting smart home features without the hassle of breaking walls. This video shows exactly how our main device works. It's a small box that our team installs quickly and neatly behind your existing switchboard, instantly upgrading your home's lights, fans, ACs, and even curtains.
This diagram explains our "no jhanjhat" installation promise. Our device is designed to be completely invisible, fitting behind any standard switchboard without needing new wiring or renovation. Our expert electricians handle the entire setup, ensuring your existing switches and new smart controls work together perfectly.

This is the final look. Your switchboards remain unchanged and fully functional, but now they are smart. You can control everything from your phone, with your voice, or by using the physical switch, giving you complete flexibility and control.
About this collection
Our team installs the Picostone module inside your existing switchboard in under an hour. You do not need to replace your switches, change your wiring, or touch your wall paint. Once the box is behind the board, it becomes completely invisible, and you continue using your regular switches while gaining full app and voice control.
Why We Chose the Retrofit Route
We know that the biggest jhanjhat (hassle) of home automation is the renovation part. Dealing with electricians, tearing down walls for new wiring, and the inevitable mess of painting is enough to make anyone say no to technology. That is why we designed our hardware to be a retrofittable layer rather than a complete overhaul.
How the Installation Actually Works
- Assessment: We look at your current switchboard setup. Whether you live in an old heritage home or a modern rental, our modules are designed to fit the standard back-boxes already in your wall.
- The Invisible Fit: Our electrician (like Rahim Bhai, who heads our core team) carefully opens your switchboard and places our Wi-Fi module behind it. This connects to your home network directly.
- Dual Control: Your existing physical switches remain connected. If the internet goes down or you just prefer the tactile feel, they work exactly as they did before. But now, they also send a signal to your phone and Alexa or Google Home.
Perfect for Renters
Because we do not require new electrical conduits or structural changes, this is the safest way to automate a rented apartment. If you ever move houses, you can simply have us uninstall the modules and take your smart home with you. No damage to the property, no complaints from landlords, and no permanent renovation stress. It is designed to be as temporary or as permanent as your living situation requires.
Picostone
I'm Niket. I started Picostone because I hated getting up from a comfy bed just to turn off a light. We make tech that hides behind your switchboard, so you can have a smart home without breaking any walls or spending weeks on renovations.
