About this collection
I shoot with a 'less is more' mindset when it comes to posing. My goal is to capture the flow of your rituals rather than stopping them for a photo. If you are worried about feeling awkward in front of the camera, I am usually that fly-on-the-wall photographer who lets you forget I am even there.
When you look back at these photos ten years from now, I want you to remember the feeling of the day, not just how you looked. That is why I lean heavily into a candid, documentary style. Whether it is a Telugu wedding ritual or a traditional South Indian Muhurtham, I know where to stand to get the shot without interrupting the sanctity of the moment.
My style leans warm, nostalgic, and film-inspired. I avoid harsh, clinical digital edits in favor of sun-kissed, natural tones. During your ceremonies—be it the haldi, mehendi, or the main rituals—I work with a small team so we can move quickly and quietly. We are there to document the raw reactions, the tears during the kanyadaan, and the uncontrollable laughter during games.
If you prefer a mix, I balance my candid coverage with about 30% posed shots. This ensures you still get those beautiful, editorial portraits of the two of you and your family, but the bulk of your gallery will feel honest and unscripted. If you have a specific venue in Bangalore in mind or a unique ritual you are worried about covering, let us chat about how we can capture it naturally.
