About Sacred Ceremonies
We know these rituals are the heartbeat of your wedding day, and they move quickly. Our team positions ourselves to capture the exact moment of the Mangalyam or the raw emotions during Kanyadaan without ever stepping into your sightlines or interrupting the flow of the ceremony.
Capturing sacred ceremonies requires more than just good gear. It requires an understanding of the rhythm of the event. Our team at Photocrew is familiar with the sequence of rituals in both South and North Indian weddings, so we anticipate when the priest will ask for the garlands or when the rice showering begins. This anticipation is the difference between a blurry snapshot and a framed memory.
We typically deploy a 4-member crew for our 12-hour wedding packages. This structure allows us to have one person focused on the main stage rituals, while another captures the candid reactions of family members in the crowd. We use Sony Alpha setups with off-camera lighting, which ensures that even in dimly lit indoor mantaps, the colors of your silk sarees and the intricate gold jewelry are sharp and well-defined.
Whether it is a traditional temple wedding or a modern banquet hall setup, our approach remains the same: we stay quiet, we stay observant, and we wait for the real moments to happen. We provide a mix of wide-angle shots to capture the scale of the mandap and intimate close-ups of your joined hands, giving you a complete, honest narrative of the ceremony.
