About Personalized Care for All Breeds
I work primarily on the lawn, not in a closed room, because I have found that open-air grooming helps even the most anxious dogs stay relaxed. By spending the first few minutes making friends with your pet, I turn what is usually a stressful, clinical chore into a calm, bonding experience that respects their personality and needs.
My approach to grooming is built on the belief that a bath should be a pleasant experience, not a battle. Whether your dog is a high-energy Labrador or a shy Indie, I take my time to build a connection before I even pick up a brush.
How I Groom
I operate out of an open-air setup in Sector 63A, which changes the dynamic completely. Dogs who hate being trapped in a small room often calm down instantly when they are out in the fresh air.
I offer three main levels of care depending on what your dog needs:
- Essential Bath & Dry: Ideal for a quick refresh. It includes a double shampoo wash, a thorough rinse, and a gentle blow-dry to get them clean without the heavy styling.
- Full Hygiene Maintenance: A comprehensive session for regular upkeep. This covers everything from nail clipping and paw pad shaving to ear cleaning and sanitary trimming, keeping your dog comfortable and healthy.
- Intensive De-Shedding Therapy: Specifically for heavy-coated breeds like Huskies or Golden Retrievers. I use undercoat rakes and force dryers to clear out dead hair, which helps prevent skin issues and keeps your house cleaner, too.
The Behaviorist Advantage
Beyond the bath, I use my experience as a senior dog behaviorist to read your pet's body language. If a dog is nervous or has had bad experiences in the past, I adjust the pace, give them breaks, and use positive reinforcement.
