About Creative & Functional Kids' Rooms
We build kids' spaces that balance playfulness with practical, modular storage solutions that evolve with them. Whether it is a shared study table for siblings or a reading nook, every piece of furniture is custom-crafted using BWP-grade plywood, ensuring the layout remains functional through every growth spurt.
Designing for children requires a precise balance between current needs and future flexibility. At PenDraft, we approach every kids' room as a project that needs to handle everything from play and study to storage and sleep.
Designing for Dual Use
In our sibling room projects, we prioritize shared utility. We often install long, wall-to-wall study tables that provide dedicated zones for each child, paired with individual storage units. By using a muted, gender-neutral color palette like soft greys and whites, we ensure the space remains timeless even as the children grow out of early childhood themes.
Modular Woodwork & Storage
Clutter is the biggest challenge in any bedroom. We integrate floor-to-ceiling wardrobes and floating TV units that maximize floor space. Our modular units are built with BWP-grade plywood and feature soft-close Hettich or Blum hardware, so cabinets stand up to years of daily use. We also focus on 'hidden' storage, such as under-bed compartments or window-seat drawers, to keep toys and books organized without sacrificing the room's aesthetic.
From 3D Render to Reality
Our process begins with 3D concepts. You will see exactly how your chosen color theme—whether it is a calming indigo blue or a vibrant green—will look in the room before we start construction. We oversee the entire installation, from the false ceiling with cove lighting to the final placement of the furniture, managing site supervision to meet our 75-90 day handover window. If you are looking to turn an underutilized bedroom into a fun, productive environment for your kids, we are ready to help.
