I turn photographs and your favorite deities into detailed pen art, treating every line as a form of prayer.

This portrait of Shri Ram is one of my most detailed works, created over 18 hours using only a black ballpoint pen. I focused on capturing a sense of peace and divine strength through intricate cross-hatching on the ornaments and serene facial expression.

A portrait of young Lord Ram, drawn with a blue ballpoint pen. I put great care into the details of his crown and jewelry, aiming to capture his calm and divine presence.

Here is Mahadev in deep meditation, sketched entirely with a blue ballpoint pen. My focus was on the calm expression and the texture of the rudraksha beads, using my cross-hatching technique to create realistic shadows and depth.

A small sketch of Lord Shiva, or Mahadev, holding his hands in prayer. This blue pen drawing captures the moment of devotion and sacrifice, showing his divine form.

This portrait of Baba Ramdev Ji is drawn with a blue ballpoint pen. I focused on the intricate details of his turban and traditional Rajasthani attire, holding the finished art up against the blue sky of Jodhpur.

A detailed blue pen portrait of Baba Ramdev Ji. The video shows the final reveal of the artwork, highlighting the fine lines used to create the texture of his beard and the patterns on his clothing.

Another portrait of Baba Ramdev Ji, created with a blue ballpoint pen. I enjoy drawing him and put a lot of effort into making the details of his pagri (turban) and jewelry look realistic.

This video shows the process of creating a portrait of Ramsapir using colored pens. I carefully blend different shades to bring out the richness of his crown and the divine expression on his face.

A time-lapse of a 28-hour artwork of Shri Baba Ramdev Ji. I used colored ballpoint pens to create this highly detailed and vibrant portrait, showing my dedication to this spiritual art.

To bring Baba Shyam's portrait to life, I used multiple colored ballpoint pens. This technique allows me to create vibrant and colorful spiritual art, blending different shades to give depth to the turban and a divine glow to the face.

About Spiritual & Devotional Art

Drawing isn't just work for me; it is my puja. I use a cross-hatching technique with simple blue or black ballpoint pens, building depth layer by layer. It takes me anywhere from 18 to 28 hours to complete a single piece, as I focus deeply on the intricate details of jewelry, expressions, and traditional attire to ensure the portrait feels alive.

When I sketch Mahadev, Shri Ram, or Baba Ramdevji, I don't just see it as drawing a face. I try to capture the 'bhav'—the emotion and the divine energy—which is why I prefer ballpoint pens over other mediums. The ink creates a permanence and depth that aligns with the devotion I feel.

My Process

Every piece is hand-drawn on 200 GSM heavy-grain drawing paper. Whether you choose A4 or the larger A3 format, I start with a light sketch and then build the shadows and highlights using cross-hatching. For reflections in the eyes or jewelry, I use a gel pen to bring out that specific shine.

Important Details

  • Duration: These aren't quick sketches. Because I layer the ink to get the level of realism you see in these images, it takes real time. I treat every portrait with the same care, whether it's for your personal collection or an offering.
  • Finishing: Once the art is complete, I apply a fixative spray to protect the ink from smudging or fading.
  • Shipping: I pack every piece in a rigid PVC tube to ensure it reaches you anywhere in India without any creases or damage.

If you want a specific deity or a portrait of a loved one that captures that same spiritual grace, tell me exactly what you have in mind. I am happy to guide you on whether a black pen, blue pen, or color sketch would suit your needs best.

Khamma Ghani. I’m Parvesh, and for me, a ballpoint pen is more than a tool—it is how I offer my devotion. Whether it's a calm Mahadev or a revered Baba Ramdevji, I pour my hours into every line so that when you hold the portrait, you feel that same peace.
