Live Music with Paran Anand
I sing solo, share wedding stages with bands, and play guitar at brunch.
With my guitar across my lap and the mic close, I'm singing a solo set at a private party.
I'm singing at a Central Delhi haldi, with guests dancing and a lineup of guitar, keys and cajon.
I'm covering Coldplay's "Yellow" with guitar at Delhi Pavilion, Sheraton New Delhi. My mom recorded this brunch performance.
Mic in one hand and the other up, I'm right in the middle of a song under the stage lights.
I'm singing "Ye Naram Naram Nasha hai" with fellow musicians at a Noida wedding, with guitar, drums, percussion and saxophone.
I'm singing "Hoshwalon Ko Khabar Kya" with Krishna Rana on guitar and Jatan Soni on drums in this trio showreel.
About Featured
The haldi set here brought together my vocals, Sahil Salihotra on guitar and vocals, Suraj on keys, and Harmeet Singh on cajon. It's a different lineup from the trio singing "Hoshwalon Ko Khabar Kya".
Different stages, different sets
My mom filmed "Yellow" at Delhi Pavilion, Sheraton Hotel New Delhi, Saket. That brunch performance sits alongside a separate Noida wedding, where I sang "Ye Naram Naram Nasha hai" with fellow musicians.
For the trio showreel, Krishna Rana played guitar and Jatan Soni played drums. I also perform solo, singing with my guitar at private parties.
Songs and requests
I sing in Hindi, Punjabi and English. Old favourites and newer music both belong in my set. I love it when someone in the audience brings me a song.
