About The Maharashtrian Bride: Navwari & Dahavari Sarees

Managing a traditional 9-yard saree can be overwhelming during wedding rituals. Our Navwari collection features pre-stitched, ready-to-wear drapes that secure perfectly, allowing you to move freely through your Vidhi without worrying about pleats coming loose.

There is a specific kind of dignity in the traditional Maharashtrian drape, but it requires practice to get right. My collection simplifies this by offering fully stitched silhouettes, ranging from the classic Brahmani to the exclusive 10-yard Dahavari style.

I focus on materials that drape well, such as soft silk and semi-silk, ensuring the final look is photogenic and comfortable for long hours. For those who want to elevate their look, we pair these sarees with hand-embroidered velvet borders or custom blouses featuring Aari and Zardosi work. Whether you are looking for a vibrant orange for a festive occasion or an elegant black saree for Sankranti, the focus remains on authenticity.

Note that while many of our sarees are available for rent, we also undertake custom commissions for wedding pieces that are never rented out. If you have a specific vision for your bridal trousseau, I recommend reaching out at least three weeks before your event to discuss the embroidery details and fabric selection.
