About Natural & Textured Wood Veneers
One important detail: these natural wood veneers come in a raw state. To achieve the deep, rich finish you see in our gallery, you will need to apply a PU or Melamine polish after installation. When you visit our Malad studio, we will show you how to select 'flitch-matched' sheets so that the grain patterns flow seamlessly across your feature wall or cabinet doors without any jarring breaks.
Choosing the right veneer is about more than just picking a shade from a catalog. Natural wood behaves differently under light, and the grain pattern you see on a small sample often looks different when applied to a full wall.

Practical Application Tips
- Polishing is Non-Negotiable: Because these are authentic wood slices, they require a professional polishing coat (PU or Melamine) post-installation. This protects the wood from moisture and gives it that signature 'luxury' sheen.
- Backing: Our veneers come with fleece or paper backing to prevent cracking, but the substrate (plywood) you apply them to must be high quality to avoid warping.
- Usage: These are ideal for feature walls, main doors, and luxury furniture. For kitchen shutters or areas with extreme water exposure, we recommend discussing our acrylic or laminate alternatives instead.
