Interior Painting Process and Transformations
Getting your home painted should not mean living in a mess for weeks. Here is how I manage interior transformations, focusing on careful preparation and a clean process that respects your space.
This is the beginning of a transformation in a large duplex home. You can see how we meticulously cover all furniture and flooring with protective sheets before starting any painting work on the high walls and ceilings.
Details make the difference. Here, one of my painters is carefully working on the ceiling, ensuring the area around the fan and light fixtures is painted with precision. We cover everything to promise a neat job.
Watch my painter using an extension roller to apply a smooth, even coat of paint on the ceiling. This technique ensures we cover large surfaces efficiently while maintaining a high-quality finish.
This image shows a room after the first coat of paint, with all the prep work visible. We use newspaper and sheets to protect built-in furniture and fixtures, ensuring clean lines and no mess.
To ensure every corner is reached perfectly, my team brings in our own scaffolding and equipment. Here, we are setting up inside a client's home, ready to tackle the high walls of this beautiful living room.
Teamwork is essential for a perfect finish. In this photo, my painters are working together on a staircase wall, with one on a ladder for the higher sections while others assist, ensuring safety and quality.
A clean workspace is a priority. This painter is walking across a protected floor, with blue tarpaulin covering the entire area, ready to apply a fresh coat to the walls of this apartment.
About this collection
The biggest worry for most of my clients in Bengaluru is the dust and damage to their furniture. Before we touch a brush to your walls, my team spends significant time on masking and floor protection. You will see us wrapping your switchboards, taping door frames, and covering your furniture with plastic and newspaper. This step is not just about keeping things clean, it is about giving us the focus to ensure the final coat is flawless.
When you look at these photos, you are seeing the 'hidden' 70 percent of a painting job. Most people focus on the color, but the secret to a high-quality finish is in the preparation. Whether we are doing a budget-friendly refresh or a premium interior makeover, the process remains strict.
Our Process
- Surface Assessment: We inspect the walls for cracks, moisture, or uneven spots. This is where we decide if basic touch-ups are enough or if full wall putty and sanding are needed to get that smooth finish.
- Deep Masking: We treat your home like our own. We move furniture to the center of the room, cover it securely, and tape off all sensitive areas like fans, electrical switches, and window panes.
- Application: Depending on your choice of paint—from standard matte emulsions to premium washable finishes—we apply the primer and the top coats. We use extension rollers for high ceilings to ensure even pressure and uniform saturation.
- Cleanup: Once the painting is done, we don't just leave. We remove the masking tape, clear away the protective sheets, and do a dry broom or wet clean, depending on the service tier you chose.
Whether you are renting and need a quick tenant handover or want to renovate your own flat, I ensure the work is done without the usual home-painting chaos. If you have specific questions about how we handle high walls or delicate furniture, ask me.
