Full Balcony Makeover with FRP Planters
Consultation & Design
- Site visit to assess sunlight and wind conditions for plant survival.
- Selection of planter shapes (Geometric, Tapered, Round) and colors to match interiors.
Planters & Hardware
- 3 to 5 units of Fibre Reinforced Plastic (FRP) floor planters (12 to 24-inch height).
- Planters feature lightweight, frost-proof, automotive-grade paint finish.
- 2-3 optional Railing Planters (Metal or UV-treated plastic) with brackets.
- Internal drainage cells or risers to prevent floor staining.
Softscaping
- Statement Plants: Large foliage (Areca Palm, Ficus, Rubber Plant) approx 3-5 feet tall.
- Filler Plants: Snake Plants, ZZ Plants, or Spider Plants.
- Potting Mix: Blend of Red earth, Cocopeat, Vermicompost, and Neem cake.
- Aesthetics: Top-dressing with polished white pebbles or expanded clay balls.

Plant Selection
- Option A (Live): Indoor-acclimatized plants (Monstera, Peace Lily) with self-watering setup.
- Option B (Faux): Premium Real Touch artificial trees (e.g., 180cm Fiddle Leaf Fig or Bamboo).
Styling & Protection
- Staging of the cluster using the Rule of Odds for visual depth.
- Felt pads or wheeled trollies under heavy pots to protect flooring.
- Decorative bark mulch or white stone top finish to hide the base.
Vertical Green Wall Installation
Structure & Hardware
- Mild Steel (MS) fabrication framework mounted to the wall.
- Waterproof board or Geotextile fabric backing to protect the original wall.
Greenery Options
- Type A (Artificial Bio-Wall): High-density UV-protected faux foliage panels with mixed textures (Ferns, Grasses). Zero water needed.
- Type B (Live Green Wall): Module system with approx 4-6 hardy plants per sq ft (Syngonium, Philodendron).
Irrigation (For Live Walls)
- Inline drip irrigation piping connected to a single inlet point.
- Bottom collection channel to drain excess water.
Installation
- On-site fabrication, mounting, and secure fastening.
