Ocean-Themed Resin Creations

Getting that realistic lacing effect for the waves is all about the pouring technique and timing. In my workshops, I show you exactly how to mix the resin, place the real shells, and create those crashing tide effects so you leave with a professional-looking clock even if you have never picked up a paintbrush before.

How We Create the Ocean

There is something incredibly therapeutic about working with resin to mimic the sea. In these sessions, we use a sturdy MDF base as our canvas. We start by building a sandy shoreline using real sand and a mix of shells and pebbles to give the piece a 3D texture.

Then comes the fun part: pouring the resin. I guide you through layering different shades of blue and turquoise to get that gradient depth that makes the water look real. Using a heat gun, we manipulate the resin to create white, lacy foam waves.

Workshop vs. Custom Order

• For Workshop Students: You get to do all the work! In our 2-day masterclass at my Vile Parle studio, we cover the full process. You will make a 12-inch wall clock, plus smaller items like keychains and bookmarks, all while learning tips to start your own art business.

• For Custom Orders: If you love the aesthetic but do not have time to create, I handcraft these pieces to order. You can choose your color palette—whether you want a deep, stormy blue or a tropical turquoise—and I will create a custom clock or piece of wall art that fits your home perfectly.

Since resin needs about 24 hours to cure properly, your workshop pieces will be ready for pickup the following day. Come with your friends, bring your creative energy, and let's make some art!
