Master the Art of Composition in Bangalore
Stop relying on Auto mode. I'll show you how to frame your shots and use leading lines to make your photos stand out!
A simple walk in Cubbon Park can become a great lesson in composition. This path, lined with trees, creates a natural frame and strong leading lines, guiding you into the photo. Learning to see these opportunities is a key part of my hands-on photography lessons.
Capturing mood is just as important as composition. At the Kavaledurga fort, the fog and mossy pillars created a mysterious atmosphere. I'll help you learn how to adjust your settings to capture the feeling of a place, turning a simple travel photo into a piece of fine art.
About The Art of Composition
Composition is not about having an expensive lens, it is about where you stand and how you frame what is in front of you. On my outdoor photowalks, we skip the boring theory and look for natural leading lines and framing opportunities in places like Cubbon Park so you can finally move off Auto mode and take control of your shots.
Many students come to me thinking their photos are dull because they lack professional gear. The truth is, your eyes are the most important part of your camera. During my 3 to 4 hour field workshops, I walk you through the Rule of Thirds and different perspectives, like high-angle or worm's eye shots, to create depth in your images.
We do not sit in a classroom. We go to real Bangalore locations like Lalbagh and Cubbon Park to practice street tactics and nature photography. You will learn how to manage natural light during golden hour, set your manual camera settings for sharp focus, and frame your subjects so the viewer knows exactly where to look. Whether you are using a Canon, Nikon, or Sony body, the goal is to make sure your camera is doing exactly what you want it to, not just what the Auto settings decide. This is about finding the story in the scene and using light, texture, and geometry to bring it to life, whether you are shooting street scenes or fine art portraits.
