Why I avoid the studio
I find studio lights and static poses create a barrier between the photographer and the subject. For couple and pet sessions, I want to capture how you actually interact. If your dog is energetic or you and your partner are shy, those qualities make for the best photos. We do not stop for pose checks. Instead, we move, walk, and play, letting me capture the genuine expressions that happen in between the movements.
The Pet factor
Pets are unpredictable, and that is exactly why I love shooting them. I focus on documentary style, so if your dog needs to run or wants to sniff around, we follow their lead. My editing process includes cleaning up shots, such as removing leashes or distracting background elements, so the final images feel clean and focused on your connection.
Practical details
I reserve 2 to 3 hours for these sessions. This allows you time to warm up and get comfortable. I shoot entirely with natural light to keep the vibe relaxed and stress-free. My goal is to deliver images that feel like a memory of a day well spent, not a staged production. You will receive 25 to 30 fully edited, high-resolution photos that are ready for printing or sharing.
My process

Once we are on site, I handle the artistic direction, finding the right angles and light, while you focus on enjoying the time with your loved ones. All post-processing, including color grading and touch-ups, is done by me to keep the aesthetic consistent with my documentary approach.
