Hands-On Sensory Exploration
Help your child learn and grow through tactile, sensory-focused play. Our inclusive sessions in Vikhroli West are designed to build confidence, fine motor skills, and calmness in a safe, supportive space.
This jungle-themed sensory play activity is perfect for children from 18 months to 5 years. It encourages learning through exploration, curiosity, and creativity. We offer these sessions in the studio and can even bring them to your location for a playdate.
This video shows a sensory kit activity in progress. A child is painting wooden pieces for a tic-tac-toe game, engaging their sense of touch and sight. This kind of play helps build nerve connections in the brain and develops language and motor skills.
Our Weekend Creative Boards session in action. Here, toddlers use various materials to color and decorate pre-drawn canvases. This sensory art activity helps children explore, investigate, and create using their senses.
Here, a child is deeply engaged with a shape-sorting toy on a colorful playmat. Our curriculum is based on experimental learning, including theme-based concepts and role-play, to ensure kids feel happy and safe while they learn.
Building with blocks is a classic and effective play school activity. These children have created a line of block cars with figures, an exercise that develops cognitive flexibility, awareness, and adaptability through fun and play.
A glimpse from our Puzzle Day, featuring a large, colorful puzzle map of India. Puzzles are a fantastic tool for developing problem-solving skills, cognitive abilities, and fine motor control in a playful and engaging way.
About Hands-On Sensory Exploration
Our sensory play sessions use targeted tactile experiences like kinetic sand, water beads, and textured puzzles to help children regulate their emotions and improve focus. We adapt every activity to your child’s specific sensory needs, ensuring they can explore at their own pace without the pressure of a traditional classroom setting.
Why Sensory Play Matters
For many children, learning is most effective when it is hands-on. Our sensory activities do not just keep children busy; they actively stimulate the brain to build nerve connections, which is essential for developing fine motor skills and speech. By using non-toxic textures and themed sensory bins, we help children transition from being overwhelmed to feeling calm and capable.
Our Approach to Inclusivity
We specialize in working with neurodiverse children, including those with autism and ADHD. Because we keep our group sizes small—between 3 to 6 children—we provide the individual attention necessary to ensure every child feels safe and understood. Our studio in Vikhroli West is fully child-proofed with non-slip mats and rounded edges, allowing for safe exploration.
What to Expect
- One-on-One Intervention: For children needing extra focus, we offer personalized 60-minute sessions. These often involve speech aids, phonetic flashcards, and mirror exercises to support communication development.
- Social Group Programs: Our 8-session monthly programs focus on social regulation. Children practice turn-taking and emotional regulation through messy play and group interaction.
- Parent-Child Playdates: We offer 90-minute sessions that include guided sensory play with themes like Jungle or Ocean. This is a great way for parents to learn co-regulation techniques to use at home.
We also prioritize transparency. We provide real-time CCTV streaming so parents can observe sessions from our waiting area, and we offer a 5-10 minute verbal debrief after every class to discuss your child's progress.
Om Kids Activities
We built this space for kids who see the world in their own way, making sure being different is celebrated rather than corrected. Whether your child needs one-on-one therapy to reach developmental milestones or a group playdate to build social confidence, our goal is to meet them exactly where they are.
