About Traditional Half-Sarees (Langa Voni)
When you rent one of my half-sarees, I make sure the set is fully ready to wear, right down to the temple jewellery and waist belt. The blouses are machine-stitched for a good fit, and I provide safety pins and hooks with every set so you can secure your pleats comfortably before you head out to your event.
Buying a traditional South Indian half-saree for a single day can be expensive, especially when you factor in the matching temple jewellery. That is exactly why I started this rental service in Jogeshwari. I want you to have that 'ekdum complete' look without the hassle of shopping for accessories or the burden of storing heavy silk outfits afterwards.
What you get with every rental
- The Outfit: Each Langa Voni set comes with a high-quality Art Silk or semi-silk skirt featuring a zari border, paired with a contrasting, pre-stitched, and machine-embroidered blouse. The dupatta or 'voni' is carefully draped to complement the skirt.
- Authentic Jewellery: You don't need to hunt for matching pieces. I include a full matte-finish Temple jewellery set with every rental. This includes the short neckpiece, the long 'haram' chain, jhumkas with ear chains, and the waist belt (kamarbandh) to tie the whole traditional look together.
- Ready-to-wear condition: Everything is steam-pressed and sanitized before it reaches you. I also make sure you have the basics like pins to make draping simple.

I operate purely by appointment at my Jogeshwari shop. This helps me give you enough time to try on different combinations, check the fitting, and ask any questions about the drape.
