Behind the Scenes: Interior Build Process in Bangalore
I believe in transparency. This is a look at projects in progress, from raw carpentry framework to the final finishing touches.
About this collection
When you look at these updates, you see the truth of a construction site. I include these images to show how we protect your modular cabinets with newspaper covers while false ceiling work is still ongoing, and how we frame custom CNC jaali work before the final polish. Seeing the bones of your home helps you understand where the budget actually goes and ensures there are no surprises.
Many people only see the glossy final shots, but interior design is 20 percent planning and 80 percent execution. When we tackle a project, like the ongoing work at RR Nagar, we start with the framework. Whether it is Boiling Water Resistant (BWR) ply for a kitchen or the custom acoustic foam for a home theater, every piece has a specific build step.
Why I Share In-Progress Updates
- Transparency: You see the raw material quality, such as the grade of plywood used for your wardrobes, before it is covered by laminates.
- Methodology: You get to see the electrical point layouts and the internal structural support for TV units and pooja spaces.
- Quality Control: I post work-in-progress pics because it keeps my team accountable. If you are hiring me, you should know exactly how your home is being built.
The Build Journey
My process is simple. We start with 3D models to lock in the design, and then we move to the site. During the carpentry phase, we focus on precision—ensuring sliding doors glide correctly, drawers are aligned, and the false ceiling cove lighting has the right wiring support. By the time we apply the final finishes, you will already know that the foundation underneath is solid. Whether it is a kitchen renovation in a Bangalore apartment or acoustic treatment for a home theater, I handle the execution personally to ensure the design matches the intent.
Nikhil Interiors
I am Nikhil. I have been sketching rooms since I was 14, and I still treat every site like my first project. I prefer showing you the plywood frames and wiring over polished photos because that is where the quality is actually built.
