Ceiling treatments that manage sound without ruining your room's aesthetic. I use fabric-stretched systems, acoustic lighting, and geometric panel layouts to balance your space.

These large pendant lights in an office lounge are made from sound-absorbing felt. They are a perfect example of acoustic lighting, reducing echo while providing stylish illumination.

This unique ceiling fixture in the RGA Tech Park features layered, wave-like forms. This design helps to diffuse sound in the conference room below while acting as a decorative light source.

For this large room, I installed a full wooden plank ceiling. The natural material and slight gaps between planks help to absorb and break up sound, reducing echo in the space.

About this collection

I use a fabric gripper system for ceilings, which allows me to create a perfectly smooth, monolithic surface without any visible nails or messy seams. It is the cleanest way to hide acoustic insulation while ensuring your lighting fixtures integrate seamlessly into the design.

If you have ever sat in a room with hard walls and ceilings, you know how echo makes it impossible to hold a conversation. My approach to acoustic ceilings is not about sticking foam on the roof; it is about treating the space so it sounds balanced.

For commercial areas like offices or conference rooms, I often use fabric-wrapped panels or acoustic felt lighting. These absorb high-frequency sounds that create that annoying ringing in open spaces. We install these using fabric gripper systems, which allows me to stretch the material across large areas for a finish that does not have visible joints or hardware.

If you prefer a natural look, I also do full wooden plank ceilings. These are not just decorative; the small gaps between the planks allow sound waves to pass through into an absorbent backing, effectively killing the echo while keeping the space looking warm and professional.

I look at the lighting, the HVAC ducts, and the existing architecture before proposing a layout. It is about making the sound treatment look like it was part of the original design, not an afterthought.

A quick note on expectations: Acoustic treatment helps control the echo inside a room, which improves speech clarity and reduces noise. However, it does not block external noise from coming in through walls or windows. If your goal is true sound isolation—like for a home theatre—that requires a different approach with decoupled framing and high-density Rockwool insulation. Let’s talk about what your room actually needs.
