Gentle, Handmade Ayurvedic Skincare for Babies & Kids
Finding chemical-free skincare for your little one can be a challenge. I make fresh, gentle Ayurvedic soaps, bath powders, and kajal right at home, ensuring only the safest, most natural ingredients touch your baby's delicate skin.
My Baby Ubtan Bath Powder is a gentle, Ayurvedic alternative to soap. It's made with natural ingredients to purify, cleanse, and nourish a baby's soft skin, and can even help remove fine facial hair.
My homemade Baby Kajal is 100% natural and safe for your little one's eyes. I make it with castor oil, cow ghee, and camphor to relax the eyes and give a soothing effect.
This cute hamper for a baby brother is a perfect gift. It includes a baby-safe shea butter soap shaped like a bottle and a foot, along with an evil eye rakhi.
Making a batch of cute butterfly-shaped goat milk soaps for a kid's birthday party return gifts. I love creating these fun, gentle soaps for children.
About Gentle Care for Babies & Kids
Because I craft every batch only after you place your order, these products contain zero harsh preservatives or stabilizers. When you receive your baby's ubtan or soaps, you are getting them at their absolute freshest, which is why I recommend using them within 3 to 6 months. It takes a little extra planning to order ahead, but knowing exactly what is going on your child's skin makes it worth it.
Pure Care for Delicate Skin
I understand that when it comes to your children, you want to avoid artificial fragrances, sulfates, and parabens. That is why my approach is strictly traditional. Whether you are looking for a daily cleanser that doesn't strip natural oils or a fun, shaped soap to make bath time easier, everything I create is designed with a child's sensitive barrier in mind.
My Handmade Baby Essentials
- Baby Ubtan Bath Powder: A traditional alternative to soap. It is a blend of fine grain powders and herbs that gently exfoliates, helping with darkened knees, mosquito bite marks, and even fine facial hair. Since it is powder-based, it is incredibly shelf-stable and potent.
- Natural Kajal: I make this using castor oil, cow ghee, and camphor. It is formulated to have a cooling effect, which helps relax tired eyes—especially useful if your kids spend time in front of digital screens.
- Shea Butter & Goat Milk Soaps: For kids with drier skin, I use high-moisture bases like shea butter and goat milk. I often create these in fun, kid-friendly shapes like butterflies or bottles, which makes them excellent for birthday party return gifts or as part of a personalized rakhi hamper.
How to Get the Best Results
For the Ubtan powder, mix a small amount with milk or cream to create a paste before applying. Avoid scrubbing too hard—the ingredients are potent enough to cleanse on their own. If you have specific skin concerns like extreme dryness or sensitivity, please let me know when you order, and I can adjust the ingredients in your batch accordingly.
