Whether it's our pre-ballet program or early-level classical training, we focus on helping children build confidence through manageable, playful exercises. We prioritize the connection between teacher and student, ensuring every child feels seen, encouraged, and ready to attempt that next plié.
At the National Ballet School of India, we believe ballet is a language that every child can learn. Our kids' programs—ranging from pre-ballet for tiny dancers to classical technique classes for older kids—are designed to build strength, flexibility, and, most importantly, a lifelong love for movement. We utilize the Vaganova and Royal methods, ensuring a solid foundation in classical technique. However, we balance this discipline with a creative atmosphere. Classes include structured barre work, floor exercises, and centre practice, all taught by our experienced faculty. We understand that parents need more than just a dance class; they need a community. That is why our studios in Juhu, Chembur, and across Mumbai are designed as 'ballet homes' where children learn discipline alongside friendships. Whether your child is looking to eventually pursue professional ballet, land international scholarships, or simply gain confidence and posture, our curriculum meets them where they are. From correcting hip alignment to teaching the French terminology like 'port de bras,' we break down complex movements into simple, repeatable patterns that keep kids engaged.
