About Collaborations & Group Choreography
When I choreograph for groups, the secret isn't just learning the steps—it's matching the energy. Whether it's a couple’s sangeet duet or a full troupe finale, I prioritize synchronization drills and formation switches to ensure the routine looks clean and powerful from every angle.
Syncing up with another dancer changes the whole performance. For my duets, I focus on the connection—the constant push and pull of energy between partners. When we move into larger group acts, like our Garba troupes or high-impact corporate finales, my focus shifts to geometry. I choreograph using cannons, ripples, and formation switches that fill the stage.
I’ve found that the biggest worry for most clients is whether their group will look 'together.' That’s why, for every group showcase, I include a mandatory 30-minute spacing rehearsal. This is where we adjust our patterns to fit your specific stage size and layout. It turns a chaotic group dance into something polished and professional.
