About Hand-Painted Florals & Nature
I build each petal with layers of color, not just a single flat stroke. This technique gives the art real volume and dimension, so your nails look like a miniature canvas. We can scale the design from subtle, single-accent florals to full, intricate botanical patterns, depending on the look you want.
The Technique Behind the Art
Painting flowers on nails is very different from standard polish application. My approach comes from the training I completed abroad, which prioritizes the longevity of the design just as much as the look.
- Russian Dry Manicure Prep: Every floral set starts with a thorough, Russian-style dry manicure. I use e-file bits to clean the cuticles and shape your nails precisely. Without this, the canvas isn't clean, and the art won't last.
- Layered Painting: I use professional gel paints, not regular nail polish. I layer the paint to add shadows and highlights, which gives the flowers their realistic, 3D appearance. Whether you want realistic roses, tropical monstera leaves, or soft, abstract line work, the depth is created manually.
- Customization: Bring your ideas from Pinterest or other platforms. I can adapt almost any botanical theme to your specific nail shape—whether you prefer almond, square, or coffin. I focus on creating a layout that flatters your hands.
- Durability: Because I apply a reinforced base overlay before painting, these sets are built to last three weeks or more, keeping the artwork crisp until your next session.
A Note on Inspiration
If you have a design reference you love, please bring it along. I am happy to interpret it and recreate it in my style. Just remember, I always believe in respecting fellow artists. If we are using a specific creator's design as a direct reference, I prefer to credit them. It is simply fair to acknowledge where the inspiration comes from.
