About Hand-Drawn Bookmarks & Doodles
Every bookmark I draw starts as a blank piece of archival paper and a fine liner pen. I do not use templates or stencils, so every doodle is a singular, meditative process. Whether you are looking for a specific color theme to match your journal or a complex henna-style pattern for a bookworm friend, these are designed to be personal and durable additions to your library.
I treat every bookmark as a mini-canvas. Because I rely on fine liners and vibrant inks, the level of detail is much higher than what you might find in mass-produced stationery. I typically use acid-free paper to ensure the ink stays sharp and the colors do not fade, making these practical art pieces you can actually use.
If you have a story, a favorite quote, or a specific vibe in mind, we can definitely work that into the design. Maybe it is a portrait, a set of geometric zentangles, or just a burst of color to brighten a tough day. Since I handle the drawing personally, I can adapt the complexity and style to what you need. These are perfect as small, thoughtful gifts for birthdays or anniversaries, or simply as a way to treat yourself to something handmade. Just let me know what theme or mood you are chasing, and we can start sketching.
