Casual Maternity Studio Portraits in Delhi
You don't need heavy gowns or dramatic poses to document this chapter. Our casual sessions at the Karkardooma studio are all about keeping it natural, comfortable, and uniquely you.
A cozy and casual moment in the studio. The mom-to-be relaxes with a book next to our teepee prop, wearing a comfortable denim overall dress for a relatable and sweet portrait.
A simple and beautiful profile shot showcasing the baby bump. The denim overalls provide a casual and modern look for this relaxed studio maternity photo.
A playful and cute way to announce the baby's arrival. A tiny pair of white baby shoes are tucked into the pocket of this mom-to-be's denim shirt.
A quiet moment of reading to the baby bump. This candid-style shot in our boho studio setup captures the peaceful and nurturing side of pregnancy.
A sweet portrait focusing on the little things. The mom-to-be holds a pair of tiny blue booties over her bump, set against a warm, rustic background in our studio.
About Relaxed & Real: Casual Studio Portraits
For these casual sessions, most clients prefer to skip the heavy gowns and bring their own comfortable denims, oversized shirts, or simple dresses. I find that when you are dressed in clothes you wear every day, the posing feels far less forced. We use our teepee and boho setups as a soft backdrop, but the focus stays entirely on you and your baby bump. It is a 45-minute window to just relax, maybe read a book, and let us capture the authentic, real version of your pregnancy.
Why choose a casual pregnancy shoot?
Not everyone wants a grand, high-fashion maternity session. Sometimes, the most meaningful photos are the ones that reflect your actual life. A casual maternity shoot in our East Delhi studio allows you to be yourself. We remove the pressure of 'performing' for the camera and instead focus on capturing that genuine glow.
How we make it comfortable
Standing under bright studio lights can feel awkward, so we prioritize a stress-free environment. Whether you are coming alone or with your partner, our studio near Karkardooma Metro Station is designed to be a private space where you can breathe. We have 50+ unique setups, but for this specific style, we gravitate toward our teepee, rustic furniture, and minimalist boho backgrounds. We encourage you to bring props that mean something to you—like baby shoes, a favorite book, or an ultrasound scan—which adds a personal touch to every frame.
Preparing for your session
- Wardrobe: Wear what makes you feel like you. If you love denim, bring it. If you have a favorite maxi dress, bring that too. We are happy to help you layer and style these for the camera.
- Timing: The best time for maternity photos is usually between the 28th and 32nd week. You are showing well, but you are not yet feeling too uncomfortable to move around.
- Process: We keep things simple. You won't be changing outfits every five minutes. Instead, we spend time settling into a look and capturing a series of candid moments before moving to the next setup.
Looking for something more formal? We also offer sessions with elaborate gown rentals and dramatic silhouettes, but if you want to keep it real, this is the right place.
