Student Performances and Musical Progress
We celebrate every note, big or small. Here, you can see our students discovering their confidence, focus, and joy through our personalized, adaptive music lessons.
Here is one of our young vocal students, Nidhi, confidently singing a Saraswati bhajan she learned in her online class. Our Carnatic vocal and shloka lessons for children focus on building a strong foundation in a gentle, encouraging environment, helping them connect with our cultural roots through music.
Watch our student Shashank during his online piano lesson from the comfort of his home. Our adaptive keyboard classes are designed to make learning fun and accessible, focusing on building skills at the student's own pace, whether they are learning to read music or play by ear.
Our student Pranav introduces himself before playing the theme from "Daredevil" on his keyboard. We encourage students to explore music they are passionate about, as it makes the learning process more engaging and rewarding.
This close-up view shows a student's hands as they practice a piece on the keyboard, following along with sheet music. Our online lessons focus on developing fundamental skills like finger placement and reading notes in a structured yet flexible way.
About Student Performances & Progress
Our sessions do not follow a rigid path because every student’s learning pace is unique. Instead of forcing a specific syllabus, we adapt the curriculum to the student's current mood and sensory needs, ensuring that whether we are practicing Carnatic vocals or keyboard chords, the focus remains on building confidence, not just technical perfection.
At Musicintuit, we believe that 'Disability is not Inability.' When you watch these performances, you are seeing the result of a patient, student-led approach that prioritizes comfort over curriculum.
Our Adaptive Approach
- Vocals as Therapy: We often use Sanskrit shlokas and Carnatic basics as speech therapy tools. We focus on breath control and specific tongue-twisting exercises to improve articulation in a gentle, zero-pressure environment.
- Keyboard for Dexterity: For our keyboard students, we replace complex staff notation with color-coded or alpha-notes (A, B, C) to remove the initial hurdle of music theory. This allows students to focus on finger dexterity and hand-eye coordination immediately, making the process rewarding from the first lesson.
Why It Works
Music isn't just about melody here; it's about regulation and expression. We have seen students with ADHD show improved focus after a session and shy individuals find their voice through the familiarity of a bhajan or a song they love. We involve parents in the process, treating the home environment as a safe extension of our academy. Whether your child is joining us from their room in Bengaluru or anywhere across India, our goal is to provide a space where they feel capable, heard, and excited to play.
