Get to know the faces behind MURC. We are competitive shooters who built this academy to ensure the next generation does not face the same financial hurdles we did.
This is our co-founder and coach, Vikrant Sharma. His mission is to make shooting accessible to all, driven by his own journey as a shooter from a middle-class family.
Coach Vikrant is an International Rifle Shooter and National Champion with over 12 years of experience. He brings his competitive expertise to every training session.

Meet our co-founder and pistol coach, Lakshay Bansal. With over 14 years in the sport, he aims to train more champions to represent the nation.
Coach Lakshay is a Youth Commonwealth Games Gold Medalist and was a member of the Indian Shooting Team for four years, bringing immense experience to our academy.

About Meet Our Mentors
Every session at our range is designed by shooters, for shooters. Whether you are picking up a rifle for the first time or training for national trials, we are on the firing line with you to correct your stance, grip, and breathing. We do not just teach you how to shoot; we show you how to handle the pressure of the competition floor.
Shooting is often perceived as an expensive sport reserved for those with deep pockets, but we started MURC to change that narrative. When we were starting out in Meerut and the BSF ecosystem, we realized the biggest barrier was not a lack of talent, but a lack of guidance and affordable access to professional equipment.
Our Coaching Journey
Vikrant brings over 12 years of competitive rifle experience, while Lakshay offers 14 years in pistol shooting with a background that includes the Youth Commonwealth Games. Both of us are alumni of Hansraj College and Jamia Millia Islamia, balancing academic growth with sporting excellence. We understand the discipline required to maintain form while managing studies or work.
Our Methodology
We operate under the mentorship of Olympian Ms. Deepali Deshpande, ensuring our training methods align with national and international standards. Our academy is not just about aim; it is about building mental stability through yoga and consistent practice.
From our range in New Friends Colony to our facilities in Noida, we use top-tier Walther and Anschutz gear, plus SIUS electronic targets. This ensures you get the same environment used in international tournaments. Whether you are a beginner taking your first shot or a serious athlete prepping for trials, you get direct, hands-on training from us.
