My Mehndi Art, Process & Recognitions
Mehndi is my passion, and I pour my heart into every design. From sketching on paper to mixing my own 100% natural henna, here is a look at my process and the recognitions I have earned along the way.
It was a great honor to meet the "Queen of Beauty," Shahnaz Husain ji, and apply mehndi for her. Her appreciation for my art means a lot to me.
I was honored to receive the Best Mehndi Artist award from actress Minissha Lamba. Recognition like this inspires me to work even harder.
Receiving the Sahika India International Excellence Award from Isha Koppikar for my mehndi art. A very proud moment for me and my team.
Another proud moment, receiving an award from actress Mouni Roy. I am grateful for these opportunities.
Receiving the Best Mehndi Artist in Delhi award from actress Ishita Dutta. My hard work pays off with these recognitions.
This is where the magic begins. Here you can see me sketching a detailed bridal figure on paper before I create it with henna.
A time-lapse of me sketching a full bridal lehenga design. I practice my art constantly to ensure perfection.
Sketching a complex design with multiple figures, including a family portrait and a varmala scene. This is how I plan my intricate bridal stories.
Practicing different small figures and motifs on paper. This helps me keep my lines sharp and my designs creative.
Sketching a beautiful Rasleela scene with Krishna and the Gopis. I can create any divine or mythological story you desire.
About My Art, Process & Recognition
You will notice that I do not just start applying henna; I sketch every design on paper first to ensure it matches your vision perfectly. Whether it is a detailed portrait or a complex story-based pattern, I mix my own natural henna paste with essential oils to guarantee a deep, long-lasting stain. This attention to detail and precision is what I bring to every client, ensuring your mehndi is exactly as you imagined.
My Creative Process
For me, mehndi is about storytelling. Before I pick up a cone, I work with pencil and paper. This allows me to map out complex figures, like couple portraits, varmala scenes, or baraat processions, ensuring the proportions are right and the details are sharp. When you see the final result on your hand, you are seeing a design that has already been perfected on paper.
Why Natural Matters
I never use chemical-based products. My henna paste is prepared fresh, using only natural ingredients and essential oils. It is safe for all skin types, smells natural, and most importantly, it delivers that dark, rich stain that every bride wants for her wedding. I believe a bride should enjoy her big day without worrying about skin irritation.
Recognitions and Moments
I have been incredibly fortunate to receive recognition for my work. Being awarded by personalities like Isha Koppikar, Mouni Roy, and Ishita Dutta has been a huge honor. It pushes me to keep improving my skills. Meeting Shahnaz Husain ji and applying mehndi for her family was another highlight of my career. These experiences are more than just awards to me; they are proof that hard work and dedication to your craft are always noticed.
Dedicated Team
While I lead the artistic direction, I have a professional team that assists me with large events and full-hand bridal applications. Whether it is a family function or a large-scale wedding, we ensure punctuality and maintain the same standard of cleanliness and detailing across the board.
