The excitement begins the moment you hop on board. Our crew, all smiles, ready to leave Bangalore for an overnight road trip to the Konkan Coast.
Day 1 of our Gokarna trip involves trekking across a series of hidden and stunning beaches, including Om Beach, Half Moon Beach, and Paradise Beach.
Day 2 is for temple vibes and coastal flavors. We visit the iconic Murudeshwar Temple with its giant Shiva statue, a truly divine experience.
A serene escape to Honnavar. We glide on the Sharavathi River with an optional boat ride and witness a magical sunset where the backwaters meet the sea.
Day 3: Heading back to Bangalore with sandy feet, sun-kissed smiles, and unforgettable memories from our Gokarna, Murudeshwar, and Honnavar trip.
For the thrill-seekers, there's an option for some ATV fun on Gokarna's main beach. It's a great way to get the adrenaline pumping.

About Coastal Adventures: Beaches, Treks & Sunsets
Our coastal trips are for the ones who want to earn their sunset. We do not just sit on the main beach. We trek across five different beaches including Paradise and Half Moon, walk through local mangroves, and visit Murudeshwar on the way. You will be walking, getting sandy, and likely sweating a bit, but the local homestay and campfire vibes at night make every step worth it.
The Weekend Flow
We keep it simple and stress-free. We depart Bangalore on Friday night around 9 PM in a push-back seater bus, so you can catch up on sleep while we cover the distance. By Saturday morning, we are hitting the trails.
The Trek & The Vibe
The Gokarna beach trek covers five iconic spots including Belekan, Paradise, Small Hell, Half Moon, and Om Beach. It is a mix of forest trails and shoreline walking. We balance this with a visit to the giant Shiva statue in Murudeshwar and a serene boat ride through the mangroves in Honnavar. This is not a luxury resort vacation. We stay in local homestays or tents to keep the vibe raw and authentic.
Who This Is For
Most of our travelers join as solo individuals or in small groups of two or three. By Saturday night, the group usually turns into a mini-family over campfire music and late-night chats. If you are a corporate worker or student looking to escape the weekly loop without the headache of planning transport, permits, or food, this is your zone.
Practical Details
- Transport: We handle all intercity transport in a Tempo Traveller or Mini-Bus.
- Meals: We provide vegetarian local food, including breakfast and some dinners, while leaving lunch open so you can explore local cafes.
- Return: We aim to be back in Bangalore by Sunday night around 10 PM, refreshed and ready for Monday, even if your feet are a little tired.
