About Pan-India Backpacking Trips
Why I Love Backpacking Across India
I know what it's like to get stuck in the home-work-home rut. For me, travel is not just a random plan that fizzles out in a WhatsApp group. It's that itch you can't shake off - that 'buri aadat' (bad habit) of wanting to just pack up and leave. Paisa toh aata jaata rehta hai, par yeh moments nahi milte baar baar (Money comes and goes, but these moments don’t come often).
The Vibe
It’s not just about the places. I see strangers turn into friends, sometimes even chosen family, on these group backpacking tours across India. Whether you’re coming solo or with your gang, you’ll find your tribe here - chilling by a bonfire, swapping stories, sometimes even dancing under the stars.
- Solo travelers fit right in, honestly most people do come alone
- We focus on real experiences, not just ticking off places
- If you’ve ever wanted a crew to travel with, this is it
Where We Go
Backpacking in the Himalayas? I’ve got plans from Ladakh’s wild roads to Spiti’s calm. Camp by Pangong, ride over Khardung La, send a postcard from Hikkim. Or maybe you want Northeast India adventure travel - think root bridges in Meghalaya, Hornbill Festival in Nagaland, Dawki’s crystal water, even the Indo-China border.
Quick Facts
- I sort your stay, local travel, permits, and most meals
- You're free to find your own lunch spots and try local food
- Getting to the starting city is on you, but I’ll take care of you from there
- Expect a Trip Captain who’s more buddy than boss
Who’s This For?
If your ‘halat is kharaab’ (life’s a mess) from the daily grind, or you just want to see India with cool people, you’re at the right place.

My Story
We’re Muddie Trails, and honestly, we started out just like you. Stuck as corporate majdoors (office folks), dreaming of mountains while sitting in boring meetings. Those Goa plan WhatsApp groups? Never worked out, right? So we just went for it. For us, travel is about late night bonfire laughs, chai stops on winding roads, and turning strangers into friends. Whether you come solo or with your gang, we promise memories, not just destinations. Life’s too short for boring weekends, yaar.
My Work
Trips & Adventures - We run weekend treks from Bangalore, epic backpacking trips Ladakh and Spiti, and international group trips Thailand, Bali, and more.
For Everyone - Solo? No problem. Groups, couples, work buddies - all welcome. Our vibe is chill, safe, and everyone fits in.
More Than Sightseeing - We’re all about real experiences - hidden sunset spots, monsoon waterfall treks, stories shared in hippie cafés.
Zero Planning Stress - You pack, we plan. Transport, stays, itinerary - sorted. Just show up for the adventure.
